One of the things I love about Scottsdale is that there is always something happening.
One week we're talking about a new restaurant opening. Next, it's a major art event, a golf tournament, a luxury shopping experience, or, in this case, Scottsdale Fashion Week.
The 2026 event returns October 8–11 for its 10th year, bringing runway shows, designers, entertainment, and fashion experiences to some of Scottsdale's most recognizable destinations.
And while fashion may not be the first thing you think of when you think about Scottsdale real estate, I actually think events like this tell us something important about the community.
Scottsdale isn't just a place to live. It's a lifestyle.
Quick Answer: What Is Scottsdale Fashion Week?
Scottsdale Fashion Week is a four-day fashion and lifestyle event featuring runway shows, designers, entertainment, shopping, and curated experiences at venues throughout Scottsdale.
The 2026 lineup includes Roka Akor, Hotel Adeline, Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale, and Scottsdale Quarter, with the event attracting designers, buyers, celebrities, media, and influencers from around the country.
Scottsdale Fashion Week's 2026 Venues Are Part of the Story
What caught my attention about this year's Fashion Week isn't just the fashion.
It's where the events are happening.
The week opens at The First Course at Roka Akor, followed by a poolside runway experience at Hotel Adeline. Saturday brings a fashion presentation inside Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale, and the event wraps up at Scottsdale Quarter.
There's also a kickoff event at Scottsdale Quarter featuring a workout with CorePower Yoga and lululemon.
If you're familiar with Scottsdale, you know these aren't random locations.
They're destinations that represent the lifestyle people come here to enjoy, great restaurants, luxury shopping, wellness, entertainment, and experiences that make getting out and exploring the city part of everyday life.
Why I Think This Matters to Scottsdale Homebuyers
When someone is moving to Scottsdale, I don't want them to choose a home based only on bedrooms, bathrooms, and square footage.
Those things matter, of course.
But I also want them to think about how they want to spend their time.
Do you want to be close to Scottsdale Quarter?
Would you rather be near Old Town?
Is dining important to you?
Do you want easy access to golf?
Maybe shopping, wellness, art, or entertainment is higher on your list.
Those lifestyle preferences can actually help narrow down the right Scottsdale neighborhood.
That's one of the reasons I love showing clients around the city instead of simply showing them houses.
Scottsdale Real Estate Market Snapshot
Scottsdale's lifestyle continues to attract buyers, while today's market gives them more room to make thoughtful decisions.
Current Scottsdale Market at a Glance:
- Median Sold Price: $910,000
- Median Days on Market: 80 days
- List-to-Sale Ratio: 97%
- Active Inventory: 2,734 homes
- Market: Balanced
These figures reflect Scottsdale market data reported for August 2026. Realtor.com describes the market as balanced, with homes selling for about 97% of asking price on average.
For buyers, that means there's an opportunity to be selective and negotiate thoughtfully rather than feeling like you have to make an offer simply because a home just hit the market.
The Scottsdale Lifestyle Goes Beyond Real Estate
This is something I tell my clients all the time:
Your home is only one part of the lifestyle you're buying into.
Maybe your perfect Saturday is brunch followed by shopping at Scottsdale Quarter.
Maybe it's a morning hike and dinner in Old Town.
Maybe it's a round of golf followed by drinks with friends.
Or maybe you want to attend events like Scottsdale Fashion Week and experience the city from a completely different perspective.
That's what makes Scottsdale so appealing.
There's no single definition of the Scottsdale lifestyle.
You get to create your own version of it.
